Homer Library Begins Curbside Pick-Up On Sundays

HOMER GLEN, IL — The Homer Township Public Library will now be open for curbside pick-up services on Sundays. The library building itself remains closed to the public.

According to the library website, pick-up service includes library materials, photocopies and printed documents. The library also gives out free craft kits and book bag giveaways on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Hours for curbside pick-up are: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, 10 am. to 2 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The houses for free craft kits and book giveaways are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on both Tuesday and Thursday.

The library has not yet given a reopening date for patrons to enter the building. Patch has reached out to the library for more information on reopening.

"To help limit the spread of [the] coronavirus and ensure the health and safety of community members, we do not have walk-in patron visits at this time," the library says on its website, adding that it continues to monitor health recommendations.
