Homer Library Offers Job Fair In A Bag During September

HOMER GLEN, IL — If you're looking for a new job in the area, Homer Township Library is offering a new way to learn about local jobs during the month of September.

The library is offering a Job Fair in a Bag throughout September, while supplies last, according to the library website. Bags will be available at the Help Desk at the library, 14320 W. 151st St.

Each reusable bag will contain information about local employment opportunities, as well as job-searching, skill-building and resume writing.

The event is being offered as part of a Job Seekers Wanted: Bouncing Back from the Pandemic grant, according to the library website. Funding for the grant was awarded by the Illinois State Library, a department of the Official of Secretary of State.
