Homer Library Plans Expansion Grand Opening Celebration
The library will celebrate its new expansions from Nov. 13 to Nov. 18 with several festivities.
HOMER GLEN, IL — The Homer Township Public Library will celebrate the grand opening of its expansion in November.
The expansion includes a youth services addition, community reading room addition and other space renovations.
The library will celebrate its new expansions from Nov. 13 to Nov. 18 with several festivities, including raffles, programs and giveaways. Find the schedule below:

- Nov. 13, 5 p.m., ribbon cutting, DJ, pizza, photo booth, visit from Spiderman and Rapunzel
- Nov. 14, 6 p.m., inclusion game night (registration required); 6:30 p.m., magician Trent James
- Nov. 15, 6:30 p.m., visit from author Rita Woods
- Nov. 16, 6 p.m., Marvel Bingo for teens (registration required); 6:30 p.m., reptile show with Dave DiNaso
- Nov. 17, 2 p.m. celebration desserts with Chef Maddox (registration required)
- Nov. 18, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., spin and win kids prize wheel, Mucha Salsa truck with free churros for the first 500 people
