Homer Township Holds Summer Food Drive

HOMER GLEN, IL — Residents still have time to drop off items for Homer Township's summer food drive. The drive runs through Aug. 5, and items will be donated to the Lockport Fish Food Pantry.

Items can be dropped off near the U-Haul truck in front of the township offices, 14350 W. 151st St., between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m., according to the event flyer.

Non-perishable items accepted include dry goods, canned goods (no green beans), snack food, paper towels, toothpaste, toilet paper and deodorant.
