Homer Township Plans Annual Independence Day Parade

The parade will be held June 25; guests can head to HomerFest after the parade ends.

HOMER GLEN, IL — As the Fourth of July quickly approaches, Homer Township will hold its annual Independence Day parade on June 25.

According to the township, the parade kicks off at 10:30 a.m. at 151st Street and Parker Road and moves north to Briarwood. After the parade, event goers can head to HomerFest at Heritage Park, 14240 W. 151st. St.

The parade will feature marching bands, costumed characters, police and fire, and local organizations and businesses, according to the township.
