Improv Night for The Arc of Illinois, Autism Awareness

Good for the Soul is a free-admission comedy show for all ages with a charity focus. This month, there is a new player joining the fun!

HaHaMen Improv invites the public to join us Monday, April 15, for an evening of fun comedy for a cause!

In honor of Autism Awareness Month, our charity of the month is The Arc of Illinois. A member of the improv troupe has a child with Autism, and her experience with The Arc made choosing The Arc for Autism Awareness Month so special

The Arc of Illinois truly believes that we are all people first and because of that, regardless of any developmental or intellectual differences, everyone deserves the same rights and opportunities.
In order to do this we regularly host events that bring in family members, self advocates, and professionals in the field to educate them on the latest and best practices. The Arc of Illinois also provides updates on a daily basis on all issues involving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. In addition to this, The Arc of Illinois has many different programs that are there to provide a plethora of resources to help each family member, advocate, and professional with their questions.
