Now is the perfect time for girls and adults to join Girl Scouts. Locally, Girl Scouts of Greater Chicago and Northwest Indiana (GCNWI) offers girls 5 - 17 and adult volunteers countless opportunities for making friends, building robots, traveling, taking action to help people in their communities, and much more.

Girls in kindergarten and first grade are invited to join the fun and learn more about Girl Scouts on Thursday, Jan. 28 from 6:15 - 7:30 p.m. at the Lockport Public Library (121 E. 8th Street, Lockport, IL).

“Girl Scouts is an amazing experience that both girls and adults will not forget,” said Carmen Evans, recruitment manager for GCNWI. “Girl Scouts provides girls with opportunities that successfully prepare them for life, as well as leadership skills and lifelong friendships that are truly priceless.”
