Konow's Corn Maze Fall Fest Opening Saturday

HOMER GLEN, IL — We're getting closer and closer to October, which means pumpkin farms and corn mazes will soon begin to open. Konow's Corn Maze, 16849 S Cedar Road, will open Sept. 19 and will be taking health precautions.

The fest includes a shopping area, rides, jump house, jumping pillows, games, food and the corn maze. Hours for the fest include 2 to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday. It will be closed on Tuesdays. The fest ends Oct. 30.

According to Konow's website, all rides will end at 7 p.m. and masks must be worn on all rides. 6 feet of social distancing is in effect on the grounds of the business.

The website also states that staff will have their temperature taken before each shift and are required to wear masks, carry hand sanitizer and gloves.
