HOMER GLEN, IL — Fall is on the horizon, and that means local pumpkin patches are opening for the season. In Homer Glen, Konow's Corn Maze is opening its Fall Fest on Sept. 17.

Konow's is open from 10 a.m to 8 p.m. on Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday; from 3 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday; and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday. The farm is closed Oct. 6.

It is $12 per person for those 3 and older Monday through Friday, and $15 per person for those 3 and older on the weekends and on Columbus Day. Ages 2 and younger are free.

There is also a shopping area, café and concessions.
