Legacy Adventure Park Opening In Lockport

LOCKPORT, IL — The Legacy Adventure Park is opening soon in Lockport. Legacy Events and Zombie Army Productions will open the new business, which is located on 66 acres of Lockport Park District land. According to the business, the park will offer activities like paintball, archery tag, low-impact paintball, outdoor laser tag, airsoft, zombie tag, zombie hunt and treasure hunt.

Legacy Adventure Park, which was formerly Legacy Paintball and Air Soft Park, is located at 2807 Canal St. The business said camping will also be available across 10 campsites throughout the grounds.

The park will open for private play and reservations on April 14, and for open play on weekends beginning May 12. According to the business, Zombie Army Productions, which is the production company that produces HellsGate Haunted House, will focus on group events such as bachelor/bachelorette parties, company events, team building events, birthday parties, and more.

Lockport native and co-owner, creative director and operations manager John LaFlamboy said he aims to create a place for Lockport locals to call their own as well as bring people into Lockport. The park will offer “micro-adventures” for everyone in the community. LaFlamboy also hopes to build Lockport as a destination.
