The artwork can be seen beginning Monday, June 25 through Monday, July 23, at host businesses in Lockport.

LOCKPORT, IL – The City of Lockport’s Summer Art Series Committee has announced the start of the Local Artist Choice Awards for artists 18 years and older. The city said the committee has selected 18 pieces of art to display at host businesses throughout downtown Lockport.
The artwork can be seen beginning Monday, June 25 through Monday, July 23, and the community can tour the artwork downtown with family and friends and vote on their favorite artwork. Each host business will
have a poster in their window indicating that they are a host business showing a picture of the artwork displayed in their store.
According to the city, each person can vote only once per day. Ballots will be available upon request and ballot boxes will be visibly displayed. Artwork location maps are available at each participating business, as well as at the City’s Water Department, 222 E. Ninth Street, Second Floor, and the White Oak Library, 121 E. Eighth Street.
