Lock & Mule Closing For Good This Week In Lockport

LOCKPORT, IL — Lock & Mule by Tangled Roots Brewing Co. has announced that it has made the decision to close its Lockport location.

"Your support, loyalty, and friendships have meant more to us than words can express. Whether you joined us for a quick meal, celebrated a special occasion, or simply stopped by to say hello, you've been a part of our story, and we're truly grateful," the business shared on its Facebook page.

Lock & Mule first opened its doors in 2021 in Lockport at 1025 S. State St. The brewery offered craft beers and a food menu. Tangled Roots also operates an Ottawa location, which will remain open.

The business said this is the last week for the Lockport location.

"While our restaurant is closing, we're excited that this location will soon begin a new chapter under new ownership and a new brand. We wish the new team every success and hope you'll welcome them as warmly as you've welcomed us," Lock & Mule said.
