Lockport Approves Parking Agreement For Hell's Gate Haunted House

Previously, the haunted house would use the Metra parking lot, but the business is outgrowing the space.

LOCKPORT, IL — At its Wednesday meeting, the Lockport City Council approved a 3-year license agreement with Legacy Events, LLC, for use of the Chevron property as a temporary parking lot for Hell's Gate haunted house operations.

Previously, the haunted house would use the Metra parking lot, but the business is outgrowing the space.

Since the city has acquired the Chevron property, that space is now available instead of the Metra lot. According to city documents, the bus route to transport customers to the haunted house on Canal Road will utilize State Street from Second Street to Division.
