Lockport Chamber Offers Scholarship Application To LTHS Seniors

LOCKPORT, IL — The Lockport Chamber of Commerce is accepting scholarship applications for one $1,000 scholarship to a student who will be pursuing a degree in a business-related field, according to a release from the Chamber.

The fund can be used for any term, including summer, during the awarded academic school year.

The Chamber said the scholarship will be provided to a graduating senior of Lockport Township High School.

“Helping students continue their business education to achieve a degree is important to us as a business association and we hope these funds help lessen the financial burden as they reach their goal,” Annette Parker, Executive Director of the Lockport Chamber of Commerce, said in a release.

The deadline to submit the completed application is April 7. The scholarship awarded will be payable to the institution the student is attending.
