Lockport Chamber Offers Scholarship For HS Seniors
The deadline to apply for the scholarship is April 1.
LOCKPORT, IL — The Lockport Chamber of Commerce is now accepting scholarship applications to assist a student who will be pursuing a degree in a business-related field by awarding a $1,000 scholarship to cover tuition, books and supplies, according to a release from the chamber.
The chamber said the funds may be used for any term, including the summer term, during the awarded academic school year. The scholarship will be provided to a graduating senior of Lockport Township High School.
“Helping students continue their business education to achieve a degree is important to us as a business association, and we hope these funds help lessen the financial burden as they reach their goal,” Annette Parker, Executive Director of the Lockport Chamber of Commerce, said in a release.
