Lockport Chamber Seeking Candidates For Board Of Directors

LOCKPORT, IL — The Lockport Chamber of Commerce’s nominating committee are seeking candidates interested in becoming members of the Board of Directors for the Lockport chamber, according to a news release. The eligible candidates would be occupying open board seats upon the expiration of the board member terms in December 2021.

The chamber said each open board seat will serve a three-year term from December 2021 through December 2024.

The Lockport Chamber Board of Directors meet the second Tuesday at 8 a.m. each month at the Lockport chamber office or via Zoom. All Board members are expected to maintain an active role in the Lockport chamber by taking on a leadership role as a committee chair, attending networking events, social events, ribbons cuttings and Old Canal Days Festival, according to the chamber.

The deadline to submit an application is Nov. 29. You can find an application on the chamber website. Your business must be an active Lockport Chamber member in good standing to apply.
