Lockport Fire Dedicates Two Vehicles In Memory Of Firefighters

The new engine 2 was dedicated to firefighter Brian Dzurney and the new ambulance 2 was dedicated to firefighter/paramedic Devan Heard.

LOCKPORT, IL — In July, the Lockport Township Fire Protection District dedicated two vehicles in memory of two Lockport firefighters.

According to a post on the district's Facebook, the new engine 2 was dedicated to firefighter Brian Dzurney and the new ambulance 2 was dedicated to firefighter/paramedic Devan Heard.

The families of both Dzurney and Heard attended the dedication ceremony, the fire district said on its Facebook. This dedication tradition will be continued with future vehicles.
