LOCKPORT, IL — If you're a Lockport resident with a beautiful garden or amazing landscaping, you can showcase your property by entering the Beautification Committee's Property Recognition Contest. You can enter through Aug. 1.
The city council will recognize winners at its committee of the whole meeting on Aug. 21. You can submit your form for the contest on the city website, and a color photo of your landscaping or outdoor decor is required.
