Lockport Hosts Christmas In The Square
This year's event will be held from 1 to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 25.

LOCKPORT, IL — Ring in the Christmas season with Lockport during Christmas in the Square. According to the city, this is the 12th year of the event, and every year attendance continues to grow. This year's event will be held from 1 to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 25. The event is sponsored by the City of Lockport, Lockport Township Park District and Lockport Township Government.
The city said there will be live reindeer, pictures with Santa, festive entertainment, train rides, holiday games, crafts and much more. Also, you can visit the Gladys Fox Museum to vote for the best decorated Christmas tree. Make sure to stay for the "grand finale" when the city will light up the big tree and officially kick off the holiday season.
The event will be held in Central Square, 222 E. Ninth St., in Lockport.
