Lockport Library Will Host Genealogy Class

LOCKPORT, IL — If you're interested in learning more about your family history, the White Oak Library - Lockport Branch will offer a beginning genealogy class on Tuesday, Aug. 27 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

The library said the class will be led by Suz Bates, a local genealogist who will present the basics of genealogy research. You will start your research during the workshop, learn how to keep track of what you find, and discover hints for continuing your research at home and in the library.
