Lockport Man Dies After Motorcycle Crash: Coroner

A Lockport man died Sunday after his motorcycle hit a fixed object in Lockport, the coroner's office said.

LOCKPORT, IL — A Lockport man died Sunday after his motorcycle struck a fixed object, the Will County Coroner's Office said. Steven Rabbers, 52, was pronounced deceased at 3:15 a.m. Sunday at the Silver Cross emergency room in New Lenox.

The coroner's office said Rabbers was the driver of a motorcycle, which struck a fixed object in the 700 block of East Ninth Street in Lockport. The cause and manner of death will be determined at a later date.
