Lockport Police Plan National Night Out
The Lockport Police Department will hold its annual National Night Out Against Crime event on Tuesday, Aug. 6.
LOCKPORT, IL — The Lockport Police Department will hold its annual National Night Out Against Crime event on Tuesday, Aug. 6. The event will be held from 5:30 to 9 p.m. at Lockport City Hall greens, 222 E. Ninth St.
The free event will include activities for kids, food vendors, music, games and more.
National Night Out is held by police departments across the country on the first Tuesday in August. The annual event strengthens police-community partnerships, and allows communication between residents and police.
