Lockport State Senator To Feature Local Businesses This Holiday
State Sen. John Connor is launching a social media campaign to feature local businesses during the holidays.

LOCKPORT, IL —Illinois State Senator John Connor is looking to highlight small businesses this holiday season, a news release from his office said.
Connor, a Democrat, represents most of Will County including Joliet, Lockport, Romeoville, Channahon, and Bolingbrook. The news release said Connor is launching a social media campaign to feature local businesses, including restaurants, retail shops, spas, and salons, during the holidays.

"Small businesses bring so much life to our communities,” Connor said in the news release. “Through the challenges of the pandemic, they worked to provide necessary services to keep our economy running.
“As we enter the holiday season, I hope residents will remember to shop small,” he continued. “Now more than ever, supporting our small businesses is vital. Please join me in helping our local businesses get back on their feet.”
