Lockport TRIAD Meeting Advises Seniors How To Avoid Scams

A TRIAD meeting for senior citizens will be held at the Lockport Police Department on April 19.

LOCKPORT, IL — A TRIAD meeting for senior citizens will be held at the Lockport Police Department on April 19. According to the department, the meeting will cover "How Seniors Can Avoid Scams" at 9 a.m. at the Lockport Police Department Community Room, 1212 S. Farrell Road.

The event is free and there will be donuts and coffee provided. The department said TRIAD is a partnership involving senior citizens, law enforcement and support/protective Services who agree to work together. The primary goals are to reduce the criminal victimization of older citizens and enhance the delivery of services to you.
