Lockport Voters Guide: April 4 Consolidated Election

LOCKPORT, IL —There are only a few days left of early voting in Lockport, and the consolidated election will be held Tuesday. The election includes races for village board, school boards, library boards, fire protection districts and park district boards.

Here's a look at what Lockport residents will see on their ballots:

For those who live within the City of Lockport, there are several contested elections for Alderperson. The races for one of the Ward 2 positions, and Ward 3 and Ward 4 are uncontested.

However, there are two candidates running for Ward 1 Alderperson:

  • Jonathan Pugh
  • Mark Lobes

And there are three candidates running for an unexpired Ward 2 alderperson position:

  • Jane Passaglia
  • Jennifer Fracaro

Lockport is part of the White Oak Library District. The race has four candidates running for two positions. Candidates are:

  • Nancy Hackett
  • Ann Lopez-Caneva
  • Selina Boersma
  • Patricia Colella

The race for Lockport Township Park District commissioner is uncontested. Two candidates, Don Bauer and Paul Nobis, are running for two positions.
