Lockport Woman Receives Honorable Mention In April Photo Contest

LOCKPORT, IL — Lockport resident Lisa Dinges received an honorable mention for the April portion of the Forest Preserve District of Will County's Preserve The Moment photo contest. You can view her photo and this month's winning photo online.

Dinges' photo showed a Nothern shoveler swimming in a sea of America coots at McKinley Woods, according to the preserve.

Joliet resident Kevin Kuchler won the contest this month with his photo of a colorful spring landscape at Rock Run Preserve. The preserve said monthly winners receive $75 gift cards. Prizes are provided by The Nature Foundation of Will County.
