Lockport Woman's Club Plans Spooky Night Out Fundraiser

The club said the fundraiser supports its Legacy Project, which is raising funds for an interactive boatyard park on the Chevron property.

LOCKPORT, IL — The Lockport Woman's Club will hold its Spooky Night Out costume party and fundraiser on Sept. 18 at HellsGate Haunted House in Lockport.

This will be the second Spooky Night Out for the club, which first held the event in 2019. Club organizers said they are hoping for an even bigger event turnout this year.

The 21 and over costume party will have food and drinks, scary games, an escape room, music, dancing, entertainment, and a sneak peek at HellsGate for this spooky season.

Tickets are $55, and $65 for VIP tickets, which includes the tour of HellsGate. Tickets will not be sold at the door.

The club said the fundraiser supports its Legacy Project, which is raising funds for an interactive boatyard park on the former Chevron property. Plans for the park are currently in the conceptual phase, organizers said.

The Lockport Woman's Club has also worked on several other community projects, including a butterfly garden and then rental bikes along the I&M Canal.
