LTHS Board Recognizes Students For Technology Day Competition

Several students won awards at a Technology Day competition at Illinois State University earlier this month.

LOCKPORT, IL — At its Monday meeting, the Lockport Township High School Board of Education honored several students who participated in the Technology Student Association's competition at Illinois State University earlier this month.

Students honored included:

  • Nadia Abukhudair and Ava Campabello, third place in structural technology-level 2
  • Kyle Brown and Krista Wojcikiewicz, first place in transportation technology-level 2
  • Olivia Picciola and Logan Fields, second place in engineering design-level 1
  • Evan Digilio and Tyler Wingate, placed first in transportation technology-level 1

The competition is held annually at Illinois State University, and invites middle school and high school students to compete in STEM-based topics.
