In April, 29 students applied for the program, and in May, an
administrative team and Board subcommittee reviewed applications and selected 10 finalists for interviews with the Board of Education. Following the interview process, the Board selected the four students to serve as Student Board Members and Committee Members for the 2026–27 school year, the District said.
Starting this month, Julia and Dayton will record a monthly video recap that highlights key takeaways from Board meetings and will share it directly with the student body.
