LTHS Boys Bowling Finishes 10th At State Finals

LTHS had a score of 12,207,​ finishing behind ninth place Joliet West, which scored 12,270.

LOCKPORT, IL — The Lockport Township High School varsity boys bowling team finished 10th at the IHSA state final. The state final was held Jan. 31-Feb. 1 at St. Clair Bowl in O'Fallon.

According to the IHSA website, the team had a score of 12,207, finishing behind Joliet West, which scored 12,270.

St. Charles East placed first at the state final, with a score of 12,836.

The Lockport team is coached by Ron Davis and assistant coaches Alan Bean and Roger McDaniel. According to the IHSA website, the team roster includes: seniors Ray Bufka and Tim Hoak; juniors Aiden Bean and Jimmy Kontos; sophomores Gavin Gucwa and Xavier Pappas; and freshmen Nate Arient and Jimmy Kontos.
