LTHS Boys Bowling Team Takes Second In State

LOCKPORT, IL — At its Monday meeting, the LTHS Board of Education honored the boys bowling team for their second place finish at the IHSA boys bowling state final.

Team members included: Riley Ambrosini, Nathan Cantrall, Evan Charest, Aaron Chrusciel, Gavin Gayhart, Nathan Jilek, Austin LiCausi and Mason Strassle. The team is coached by Ryan McDaniel, Ken Schaffer and Alan Bean.

The team competed at the state finals on Jan. 31, held in Fairview Heights.

According to IHSA, Rockton's Hohonegah won first place in the state competition, followed by Lockport in second and Mt. Vernon High School in third place.
