LTHS Boys' Soccer Advances To State Semifinals

The Porters will play York Community High School in the semifinals on Friday.

LOCKPORT, IL — The Lockport Township High School boys' soccer team has advanced to the IHSA Class 3A state semifinals after defeating Collinsville High School in overtime in the super-sectional game, according to IHSA results.

The Porters defeated Collinsville 3-2 on Tuesday, and will now face off against Elmhurst's York Community High School at 5 p.m. Friday in Hoffman Estates.

The winner of Friday's game will play in the championship match of the state tournament on Saturday. The winner of the Lockport and York match will play the winner of Morton and Fremd High School, according to the IHSA website. There will also be a match on Saturday to determine third and fourth place in the state final tournament.
