LTHS Cross-Country Teams Advance To Sectionals
The boys team placed fourth at the regional race, while the girls team placed second.
LOCKPORT, IL — After the regional race held at Lockport Township High School on Saturday, both the boys and girls cross-country teams have qualified for the sectionals race.
The first six placing teams in Class 3A advance to sectional competition, according to the IHSA website.

Lincoln-Way East took first place for both the boys and girls team standings, according to the IHSA website.
The district told Patch that top finishers for the boys included: Michael Welcome, 12th place; Nathan Powley, 14th place; and Cameron Valcich, 21st place.

Top finishers for the girls included: Kayla Shea, third place; Sydney Fontaine, 13th place; Monica Skibicki, 19th place; and Lexi Shea, 20th place.
Sectionals will be held Oct. 29 in Normal.
