LTHS Football Playoffs: Porters Face Lyons Township In 1st Round
The Porters will face off against Lyons Township High School at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday at LTHS.
LOCKPORT, IL — The Lockport Township High School boys' football team will play in the IHSA Class 8A playoffs, facing off against Lyons Township High School in the first round.
The Porters will face off against Lyons Township at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday at LTHS, according to the IHSA website. Lyons Township is 5-4, while Lockport is 8-1.
The winner of Saturday's game will advance to the second round of playoffs and face the winner of the Oswego High School and Glenbard West match-up.

Lockport has had its best season in years, and has only one loss against Lincoln-Way East High School. In regular season play, the Porters defeated Joliet West, Metea Valley, Bradley Bourbonnais, Homewood-Flossmoor, Sandburg, Lincoln-Way West, Bolingbrook and Andrew High School.
The championship match for Class 8A will be held Nov. 27 at Huskie Stadium in DeKalb.
