LTHS Football Quarterfinals: Lockport Faces Glenbard North

LOCKPORT, IL — The Lockport Township High School boys' football team has advanced to the quarterfinals of the IHSA Class 8A playoffs after last week's victory over Glenbard West.

The Porters defeated West 34-0 in the second round of playoffs, according to IHSA results.

Now, the Porters will face off against Glenbard North at 1 p.m. on Saturday at North, according to the IHSA website. Glenbard North is 8-3, while Lockport is 10-1.

The winner of Saturday's game will advance to the semifinals of the playoffs and face the winner of the Lincoln-Way East and Loyola Academy match-up.

Lockport has had its best season in years, and has only one loss against Lincoln-Way East High School.

The championship match for Class 8A will be held at 7 p.m. Nov. 27 at Huskie Stadium in DeKalb.
