LTHS Honors 10 National Merit Commended Students
The district said on its Facebook that the students will be recognized at an upcoming Board of Education meeting.
LOCKPORT, IL — 10 students at Lockport Township High School have been honored as National Merit Commended Students.
The 10 students are: Shaw Carlson, Alexandria Chrusciel, William Garrett, Zachariah Kozor, Sean Marshall, Ryan O'Connor, Nathan Odeen, Angelique Pasciak, Charlie Pluth and Alexa Trower.
The district said on its Facebook that the students will be recognized at an upcoming Board of Education meeting.

According to the National Merit Scholarship Corporation, about 34,000 out of the 50,000 high scorers on the PSAT/NMSQT received letters of commendations in recognition of their outstanding academic promise.
Commended students won't continue in the competition for National Merit Scholarships, but some of these students do become candidates for Special Scholarships sponsored by corporations and businesses, according to the organization.
