LTHS Honors Third Class Of Lockport Legends

LOCKPORT, IL — LTHS celebrated 14 honorees at its third annual Lockport Legends induction ceremony on July 23, the District shared.

The ceremony honored 14 individuals "whose achievements, leadership, and dedication have left a lasting legacy on Lockport athletics," the District said.

This year's class included three people who were recognized in memoriam.

The 2026 Lockport Legends Honorees are:

1. Floy "Doc" & Helen Pelletier
2. Christine Marszalek
3. Evon Schlotter
4. Drew Pierson
5. Dr. Emil Viskocil
6. Jim Knudsen
7. Sonja Jackson
8. Jacquelyn Myers Finch
9. Craig Duppong
10. Clyde Odle
11. Jameson Oster
12. Joe Williams
13. Kenny Banks
14. Ed Matesevac

"The evening celebrated decades of excellence across numerous athletic programs, recognizing coaches, athletes, community supporters, and pioneers whose accomplishments have helped shape the proud tradition of Lockport Township High School athletics," the District shared in a news release.

Special recognition was also given to local historian and sportswriter Curt Herron, who authored each inductee's biography, the District said.
