LTHS Plans Seventh Annual Veterans Night Celebration

LOCKPORT, IL — Lockport Township High School will host its seventh annual Veterans Night celebration on Feb. 4.

According to the school, veterans are invited to attend a celebration at LTHS East gymnasium, starting at 5:30 p.m. Family members will be admitted free of charge to the LTHS basketball game against Sandburg High School, and veterans will be escorted to a meeting area, the school said.

Veterans will be escorted onto the basketball court, recognized individually and have the opportunity to participate in the holding of the flag when it is unfurled for the national anthem.

Veterans will also receive a commemorative T-shirt, the school said.
