LTHS Porter Players Present 'Radium Girls'

LOCKPORT, IL — The Lockport Township High School Theatre Porter Players will present "Radium Girls" Nov. 7-10 at LTHS East auditorium, 1333 E. Seventh St.

Shows will be held at 7 p.m. Nov. 7, 8, and 9 and at 2 p.m. Nov. 10. Tickets are $7 for adults and non-LTHS students, and $5 for seniors and kids under 12. The show is free for LTHS students with ID.

According to the school, the show is inspired by a true story, about the efforts of Grace Fryer, a dial painter, as she fights for her day in court. Grace finds herself battling not just with the U.S. Radium Corporation, but with her own family and friends, who fear that her campaign for justice will backfire.

Staff involved in the show includes Laura Gilbert, Kennedy Musich, Ken Frykholm, Meera Gosein, Kylie Knippenberg and Patrick Deane.
