LOCKPORT, IL — Lockport Township High School's prom planned for July 11 has been canceled, the school shared on its website. The prom was supposed to be held at the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago, but the museum has informed the school that it won't reopen in time for prom and the event has been canceled, the school said.
According to LTHS, the prom will not be rescheduled due to continuing concerns about the coronavirus. The school will start the process to initiate full refunds to everyone who purchased tickets.
