Messenger Woods Preserve Closed Tuesday For Sealcoating

Sites that are sealcoated must be closed for a minimum of 24 hours, according to the preserve.

HOMER GLEN, IL — Messenger Woods Nature Preserve will be closed Tuesday as the Forest Preserve District of Will County does sealcoating and asphalt crack repairing.

According to a release from the preserve, sites that are sealcoated must be closed for a minimum of 24 hours and sometimes a longer closure is required due to weather conditions.

The preserve said that path users and preserve guests should use caution and obey closure signs.
