Mosquito Spraying Planned Four Nights In Homer Glen

HOMER GLEN, IL — Clarke Mosquito will be spraying in Homer Glen on June 21, June 22, June 23 and June 24, according to the Village.

Spraying takes place between 1:30 and 4:30 a.m., the Village said.

Homer Glen contracts with Clarke Mosquito for monthly treatment of mosquito breeding sites from June through September, according to the Village website. Clarke also does one Village-wide spraying application in the late evening, which reduces the mosquito population by 80 percent.

Residents can receive advance notices of sprayings by contacting Clarke directly and signing up through their Mosquito Hotline 1-800-942-2555 and asking to be added to the, "Prior Notification List," for the Village of Homer Glen, according to the Village website.
