Movie Nights Planned At Historic ROXY Lockport Theater

LOCKPORT, IL — Enjoy Lockport's historic theater, ROXY Lockport, at several movie nights planned throughout the rest of the year.

The theater is at 1017 S. State St., and there is a full-service bar and light snacks available for purchase at the events.

The next movie night, showing "Jurassic World," will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on July 29. Tickets are $2, and can be purchased online.

The movie nights are a partnership between the ROXY and the Lockport Summer Art Series. Doors open 45 minutes before movie start time for all events.

• 5:30 to 7 p.m., Oct. 28, "Ghostbusters"(1984)
• 8 to 10 p.m., Oct. 28, "Mary Shelley's Frankenstein"
• 5 to 6:30 p.m., Nov. 25, "The Grinch" (2018)
• 2:30 to 4:50 p.m., Dec. 9, "The Polar Express"
• 6 to 9 p.m., Dec. 9, "It's A Wonderful Life"
