Mugshots Holds Fundraiser For Homer Glen Nonprofit After Fire

All proceeds will be donated to repair and re-insulate HRET's arena.

HOMER GLEN, IL — A local business in Homer Glen is rallying behind Holistic Riding Equestrian Therapy after a fire at the horse riding barn in December.

Mugshots Sports Bar and Grill is sponsoring an Original Mr. Beef fundraiser on Thursday, from 6 to 10 p.m., at the restaurant, 13031 W. 143rd St.

All proceeds will be donated to repair and re-insulate HRET's arena.

Tickets for the fundraiser are available at the door on a first-come basis for $35, which includes The Original Mr. Beef beef and meatball sandwiches, Italian sausage, mostaccioli, coleslaw, 50/50 raffle (winner need not be present), and an auction to win Heisman Trophy winner Bo Jackson sports memorabilia.

Auction items include a one-of-a-kind signed custom framed print with a certificate of authenticity, MLB signed baseball, Bo Knows baseball cap, and a $395 gift certificate to Bo Jackson's Elite Sports Complex in Lockport, according to HRET.

The Holistic Riding Equestrian Therapy is a nonprofit based in Homer Glen that provides therapeutic riding for people with special needs.
