New Trucking Storage Lot, Office Approved In Lockport
The plans call for a 13,000-square-foot office/industrial building with 95,000 square feet for petroleum tanker trucks and trailers.

LOCKPORT, IL — The Lockport City Council recently approved the final development plans for an office and area for petroleum tanker trucks/trailers at its Dec. 19 meeting. The business, J.P. McMahon Petro-Chem Transport Group, LLC, will be located at 14835 New Ave.
The city said the plans call for a 13,000-square-foot office/industrial building with 95,000 square feet for petroleum tanker trucks and trailers.
According to board documents, the Planning & Zoning Commission approved the project unanimously before sending it to the city council, where it was also approved. The business owner owns the property and has been a business owner within Lockport for a year, board documents state.

The changes to the property would better suit the needs of the business, and will also include an updated septic system, according to board documents.
