Nicole La Ha Zwiercan Announces Run For 82nd District Representative
La Ha Zwiercan previously served as Homer Glen Village Trustee.
HOMER GLEN, IL — Nicole La Ha Zwiercan, a former Village of Homer Glen Trustee, has announced her candidacy for the 82nd District in the Illinois House of Representatives.
“Illinois government needs a major reset,” La Ha Zwiercan said in a release. “People here and across the state deserve more leaders who will fight for families, ensure parental rights and input, and make Illinois more affordable, so taxpayers can keep more of their hard-earned money. I have a heart for service and I care deeply about our community, which is why I am stepping up to run to be your voice in Springfield.”
The announcement comes after current Representative John Egofske, who also serves as Mayor of Lemont, said he will not seek re-election. The outgoing Republican Representative provided his endorsement of La Ha Zwiercan for the upcoming 2024 election.
