Noodles & Company, Crumbl Cookies Coming To Lockport?

LOCKPORT, IL — Rumors are swirling about the newest businesses in a three-tenant building under development in the Lockport Square development off of 159th Street.

The city said the multi-tenant building is being constructed now, but won't open until 2023.

The rumored tenants? Noodles & Company and Crumbl Cookies.

City officials would neither confirm nor deny rumors, but city council documents tell a different story.

In meeting minutes from April, the development is referred to as "a multi-tenant commercial building for Lockport Square Lots 9B and 9C (Wendy's Restaurant and Noodles & Company)."

Then, the City lists engineering for Wendy's/Noodles/Crumbl at Lockport Square multiple times in its bills in recent months.

Noodles & Company is a fast-casual restaurant that offers noodle dishes of various cuisines. Noodles has locations in Bolingbrook, Orland Park and Woodridge.

Crumbl Cookies has taken off in popularity in the past few years, opening locations across the Chicago suburbs. The bakery sells rotating flavors of cookies in light pink boxes. Nearby Crumbl Cookies are in Mokena, Bolingbrook, Orland Park and Naperville.
