Not So Scary Hayride Planned In Lockport
The kid-friendly event will be offered from 1 to 4 p.m. on Oct. 10 at Dellwood Park, 199 E. Woods Drive.
LOCKPORT, IL — Lockport Township Park District's Hayride of Horror and Curse of the Bayou will open Sept. 30, and run Fridays and Saturdays until Oct. 29.
However, those who may not be ready for the spooks of the Hayride of Horror can attend the Not So Scary Hayride on Oct. 10.
The event is for perfect for kids who don't like to be scared, the park district said in its newsletter. The kid-friendly hayride will be offered from 1 to 4 p.m. on Oct. 10 at Dellwood Park, 199 E. Woods Drive.

The event will also feature a live performance with Miss Jamie's Farm at 1:30, 2:30 and 3:30 p.m., hayrides and games, face painting, Chicago Pretzel Truck and Beanie's Candy Store, s'mores and an appearance from the Ghostbusters.
Costumes are encouraged, the park district said.

Tickets are $8 per person, and must be purchased before the event. There are no on-site ticket sales.
