Arthur “Ty” R. Pelley III
Arthur R. Pelley III, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2025, at The Pearl of Joliet, surrounded by the love of his family, at the age of 63. He was born on January 5, 1962, in Chicago, IL, the son of the late Arthur and Norma (nee Huber) Pelley Jr.

Ty was a loving father and friend. He loved entertaining and spending time with those he cared for most. He also enjoyed crafts, DIY projects, and sharing his opinion with anyone who’d listen. He will truly be missed.
Ty is survived by his daughter, Jessica (Josh LeGrett) Pelley; grandchildren, Jeremiah, Elijah, Scarlette, and Atticus; sister, Jill (Jack) Gunther; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his partner of 20 years, Dan Truschka.
As it was his request, cremation rites have been accorded and services will be held at a later date.
