Old Canal Days Kicks Off In Lockport

Old Canal Days will kick off Thursday and run through Sunday in downtown Lockport.

LOCKPORT, IL — The annual Lockport festival, Old Canal Days, has returned. The festival will be held from Thursday, June 15 to Sunday, June 18. According to the city's website, the fest celebrates the I&M Canal and its contributions to the success of Lockport.

Old Canal Days features a carnival, craft show, beer garden, music, wine tent, food trucks, and historical tours. One of the most popular events at the festival is the parade, which will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, June 16.

Old Canal Days is held in downtown Lockport. The event is hosted by the Lockport Chamber of Commerce and the city of Lockport.
